on the topic of warmage i dont think a warmage would require max wisdom, a smaller mana pool really wouldnt matter. however it is probably easier to create this as a class with cure/beam and a bunch of self buffs, basing the self buffs on int would ultimately serve no purpose tho as ud be left with the same races as a real mage w/o the real benefits. id probably guess the equation could be run with '(int + end)/2' istead of the normal int in the formula for spells. would make it interesting to have a viable class that can be every race. also sounds fun tbh.

If INT is revamped it would generally be same damage at max (lets base max on 23 int), but scaling would be lower. Calculator making time:

Looking at Man's values, he was basing it off against div, and I mean, even 23 int against div does pretty bad damage, but that is an obvious. The spell is a weak spell, and it caps out at level 14 for sorcs, and level 15 for necros (same ending damage). 4 points of damage on average per INT point at level 14/15 seems fair to me.
Per point is the last value here, shows what each INT gives... Going to post another example.

Seems like magic damage is pretty solid, based on those numbers at least. I don't have a chanter though so i can't really comment on resist rates except from the other side. That being that at my 16 wis gobln ninja is chanter food, which I think seems a little excessive but I also don't think a buff to magic resist at the high end is at all needed. So ehhh...I should lvl a chanter one of these days and have better input.

16 wis gobby is about 43% resists.

my necro has great solid damage. its level 20 and pretty good at hitting now, i only seen a small problem of it being slightly hard with inaffects lvls 4 -18 mostly. this is talking solo, cuz hoping in a party and leeching exp of barb and ninja kills isn't a good measure. other than that i dont think they need changed atm.
@folder w/o exactly knowing how MR works i sit here wondering why youd think a 16 wis goblin should standout in MR
8% for race

and im sure atleast 1% per wisdom

seems like in the situation where u face mages it is more viable to use dark elf or elf/helf or even the stunner with an occasional gnome.
as an outsider reading wiki/forums i never pegged a goblin for magic resistance at all figured the 8% was just there to make them die in a similar number of casts as a horc. that being said i think casters should kill as many builds as ninjas/slayers or the exp of 350m shouldn't be as high or monk/assassin isnt high enough.

Goblins are meant to be decently resistant to magic. They aren't the best overall PVP choice for damage and such, they are meant to be kind of the lower end for physical classes but having some sort of magic resistance. By 'resistant' I'm talking about half way at least with a goblin monk.
I could see raising their MR for race though, cause max is 16 wis, mayeb give them another 5% or so its around 48-50% with a goblin monk. goblin assassin would be around 40%.
The MR scales alot when it comes to race/class and wisdom. 20 wisdom with 8% race bonus would overall win the MR battle vs someone who has 16 wisdom and 15% bonus. That's why I can see raising MR on goblins a bit.

I didn't say I think a gobby should stand out with MR, I said they are food. Mostly as a point of reference, not necessarily a complaint or saying it needs to change but pointing out the difference between 16 and 20 wis seems super big. Just food for thought.
