I've noticed that Faerie Fire has an awfully high resist rate on my druid. Im rocking 18 int and I have to use it several times for it to ever go off most of the time, doesn't seem useful when you want to light up a mob or assy with it and go to town. Is there something that is causing it to be resisted so often? I figured 18 int was pretty decent for a druid.
edit: Is FF armor reduction affected by int as well? more reduction with higher int?

What were you trying to FF?
If a person, what level/wisdom/race/class were they (if you know)?
What level are/were you?
Every bit of info will help NH (in saying that I can be pretty vague myself by missing out important details that I never thought of adding at the time

Resists are higher with debuffs but I might change this soon. If you do it on orc vs a gnome it's much different.
FF does use INT for a reduction amount, yes.

lol derp, I forgot to include that last night. It's around lvl 20-21 with 18 int vs mobs a lot of times, vs players I can do more tonight. I just had a feeling the resist chance was extremely high because I was literally doing FF 9-10 times before getting -1- off on equal level mobs. Felt...like something wasn't quite right haha. With the dodge nerf out of morph Ill be dead before I can use one of my signature abilities haha. I was always under the assumption it was light em up(FF), morph and kitty scratch ^_^
Edit: Also on Nourish. Its okay as food for 10 mana but would it be possible to make it more flavorful? Maybe a small heal over time similar to Bards? Lower heal over time, faster ticks, but only for a duration based on int? Could make it the equiv or like 2-3 curels health worth? Just an idea ^_^

I mean, it is like 70-90% over 20 seconds. It's food. It's not going to be any better than that. It saves you a couple slots for food and allows your party to bring more mana and potions. It won't give an additional heal over that. That wouldn't make much sense/be mental/they aren't meant to be mega healers. So this pretty much wont' happen. They aren't designed for healing and giving them a heal plus food heal makes me feel like they are op, specially if you giving them per tick heals in combat too.
Ticks are set, they cannot be changed.
Resists though are based on INT, but with the general lower int of a druid I might have to adjust it, or at least remove the negative effect. A Dark-Elf Monk would have 61% to resist regular spells, FF adds about 6-10% on the actual value so it more like 71%. Regardless any spell is hard to penetrate on high wisdom classes who have a high bonus. That is based on 18 int.

I meant just making it a small Heal over time instead of food. ^_^ I understand what you're saying though. As far as the resisting goes it makes a lot more sense to me now!! You said its possible to lower the resist rate because druids generally have lower int right? That'd be awesome! I thought 18 int was pretty high for a druid tbh but idk, I'd have to look over at the other races now that they're changed. They you for looking into it big boyy.

Re: Druid/Elder Druid
Going to remove all the resist toughness on all debuff spells as resists are generally alot higher than they used to be.
