I believe it is currently rolled:
attack -> armor absorb chance, if not, shield absorb chance.
If they were both brought to the front to stack such as:
attack -> (armor absorb chance + shield aborb chance) then something to determine if it is an armor absorb or shield absorb
That would give you the 43.8% in your example.

You are incorrect here.
They can occur at the same time, and stack. With a shield you can get full absorbs. You roll twice and add both amounts of absorb if both are successful.
You are right though, 17 ac shields are not out yet, but a few oads should be coming out soon and we're working on getting it sorted out as fast as possible.

Oohhh very nice, thank you for the info and conversation. I was basing it off an old armor thred perhaps so that's my mistake. Appreciate the time and effort as always.

All good

Yeah it was adjusted as well that they both stack. The idea was that you can get 100% with both at the same time though. In any case for armor, if it ends up being to low it's an easy adjustment, it isn't a problem to raise if need be. We'll be working on adding OAD shields soon so just be a little patient with them. I know we are lacking on some AC off everything but I'm hoping we slam it down soon.
Re: Dec 1st Balance Changes
Since Barbarians got the -dodge thing reverted did Druids also get their -5% dodge reverted? That seems fair right since haste got nerfed a lot?

Druids got +1 agi on both bear and cat form for the -5% agi nerfed. The idea there was that they are the same as they were while morphed but slightly weaker out of morph. It was to do mainly because you can now shift in and out of morph on your own will.
