Not sure how possible this is but I'd love to see heals not set off the combat timer. I like to top everyone off and drink but I have to wait around for the combat timer after I drop a heal.
On a side note I'd also like to see misses against you not interrupt your eating/drinking. I don't know how difficult this would be but maybe set it so while already eating/drinking misses dont set off the combat timer or make it so the combat timer doesnt stop you if you're already eating/drinking.
Minor thing to me really.

The first idea is bad because you could /protect the healer, and then have the healer eat mana and heal which would be rather impossible to kill and they'd have endless mana and endless heals. It would be very imbalanced. Remember if you give someone an inch in this game they will run a mile. People will abuse whatever they can find.
Second idea maybe in the future we could tweak it.

I never even considered protect, so if a guard steps in front of you the combat timer goes off? Haven't played with a guard on me yet.

The timer wont go off on you I mean if someone is protecting you, as nothing is happening to the person getting protected. So if you allow healing to not take up the combat timer, they can eat and drink while using heal commands and laugh at you.
I.E.
Guard protects Priest
Attacker attacks Guardian
Priest uses drinks and heals, having his MP constantly topped off. Attackers are unable to kill priest (even though it was hard to begin with, but this virtually shield protects them forever.)

yes I can see how this would be a major problem. Okay I can live with the minor annoyance of having to hold my party up for an extra 15 some seconds lol.
