GG Guys

Hey, I've been around for about two days now. It's really taking me back to about 00 when RoK was in Alpha. I had a good time with Afterlife back in the days and really loved when it was finally Beta and what not. You guys are actually working on balancing this game and working towards moving forward on the balance than it getting to the point of I think it was like 08/09 stagnation.

I have my slayer leveled up, working on a guardian. I want to make one of a variation of 25ers and would love to test the pvp with some people. I had a good few duels with someone already on Discern, my night saurian slayer which i won most of the duels against div. I don't mind leveling up some weird combos either for test purposes. I also have asked some of my old irl friends to get into this and we can get this on the road soon. I can't help much with art or creation, but I'll do my best as an avid video game nerd to help test systems and what not.

Yeah it's hard now, we had about 20-25 people on at one point, but since we jacked the EXP to 200x I think people are bored, but don't understand that this is needed for balance reasons. Once we get out of it I'm sure people will be back, but it's a bit of a shame for testing purposes. We're doing what we can anyways with what we have 8)

Alot of the balancing has been fleshed out and is probably ready to go. I'm just waiting on a couple more things before we actually get out of dev mode and get everything started so people can actually play.

We all remember that great feeling earning a OAD or better yet a quest item. This game has potential to rise where realms failed. With the right idea's put into gameplay, graphics/ art , balancing and events I could see this reaching out to more players. Discern remembers how early we would get up in the morning just to run for an item,how we fought to control a town that eventually got removed. How we would farm brownies just to have huge bank. Grinding some of your favorite monsters you had divinity over to see your highest damage, brawls in the game room,cant forget PKing at crossroads. Going head to head with other guilds (carnage) or players whom had enough characters to be their own guild (Morvik). Just some of my old memory's of younger days and also met some friends for a lifetime thru realms. Thanks for bringing something we all cherished back and keep up the good work!

Im building an expansive OAD area, one of the first OAD's truth be told. Right now and it will be ran much differently than RoK's was with lots of puzzles and locks to keep you guessing.

Im glad you like the effort we're putting into the game and if things keep going the way they have been, we're gonna have something better than RoK ever was. I just hope we can attract and keep more players. I'd say anywhere from 50-100 unique players would be an awesome goal to set.

What I like here better than RoK is we have "special mobs that spawn hourly or however long we want them to spawn with a chance to drop decent weapns and those and bosses have a chance at dropping the same weapon but at different rarities. So you could go one time and get (golden dagger...not a real weapon just an example) and it could drop at green, blue or purple quality.

Just stick with us during this testing phase and You'll be pleasantly surprised

I suggest making Forum/In Game announcement for scheduled PVP testing. I check the site daily and if I saw something that said "Friday@7pm cst PVP Testing," I'd hop on. I log in periodically to see if it's wiped and if I know in advance you had a scheduled Testing for something specific I'd hop on in a pinch. My $.05

I've been lurking around again for a week or two, and I've really been enjoying what you guys have done here. I would have been more than happy to find an exact clone of RoK to play again, but this is something else entirely. I particularly like what's going on with rangers, and little changes to the other classes. I love finding all this stuff while I'm leveling, and not knowing what it is, and thinking it's probably crap but wondering if it will be used for crafting, or if I should save it to sell when there isn't a ton of gold dropping everywhere.

For me, this has been almost like playing RoK again for the first time. The only difference is that I think this is going to be much more. I would love to help in some way, but for now I too only have the time to level and try out different race and class combinations.

Part of the problem with the player drop off is also the time of year AND Warcraft dropping their new expansion.

I've been very busy and caught up in trying to lvl up irl, but I hope all is going well for the game and that one day the alt limit is raised.

Sorry. Got married, went on honeymoon, and now entering the busiest time of year for work. Still bounce in every now and then, but playing hasn't been on my mind as much.

Time of year struck hard for me. Had plenty of free time during the summer, managed to hit slayer well before the super exp. if the game came out today though i wouldnt come close to the same feat.
