Currently, the text description of rooms is repeated for several rooms, especially roads. This is redundant, annoying, and actually distract us from reading what people have crafted. For example i stepped outside of Seamor. The movement description is:
[02:02] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road leads off to the south and the Seamoor City Gates are to the east.
Now, if i move south, i have the same movement and room description. This seems redundant, and makes for a shed load of annoying text:
[02:05] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road leads off to the south and the Seamoor City Gates are to the east.
[02:05] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road leads off to the north and south.
[02:05] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road leads off to the north and south.
...
[02:06] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road branches here to the south, east, and west. A sign rises upward off to the side of the road in plain sight.
So I propose to alter the client so that when we transverse rooms with the same description, we get something along the lines of:
[02:05] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road leads off to the south and the Seamoor City Gates are to the east.
[02:05] <Journeyman's Road> You went further south.. go back north or further south
[02:05] <Journeyman's Road> You went further south.. go back north or further south
..
[02:06] <Journeyman's Road> This is a main route for many who traverse the realm and animals can sometimes be encountered here as they wander out from the forest at times. The road branches here to the south, east, and west. A sign rises upward off to the side of the road in plain sight.
The text should only change when we encounter a room with a different description.
Im not sure if this would be easy to implement. But it would save alot of text and make for a more enjoyable and readable travel experience.

With the new upcoming update, the second text box will help show /gc and /pc if set to display those messages only.

Re: End Repeated Text when moving
It's an idea I would see about putting in but probably not this update.
Re: End Repeated Text when moving
Good idea. But would be later. Rooms are built with each room having a description. Therefor many seem redundant but it's all part of it.
