2 alt limit
2 alt limit
Was just seeing if the alt limit could be 2? I don't know it's ultimately up to nighthawk and just wanted to ask

Been brought up several times.
Disclaimer: Any ideas I come up with may not even meet my approval. I am just posting an idea based on the topic I have just read.

Yeah the game was all balanced around having one alt, trying to make it so all classes are useful there.
Two alts maybe one day but I don't think we should attempt it though. If I'm ever to do stuff like a FB client/pad client/etc they will be at a serious disadvantage against someone using two alts/won't be fair for them in that regard. The only thing it would do is bolster the number count by double, but it's a fake 'double'.

could do buyable NPCs with a randomizer at temple(or other area) i.e. each npc shop rolls 5-10 possible mercenaries at server startup. and a fresh batch the next day.
mercenaries have the same basic set up as real existing classes and would function just like a summon.
changes from normal characters:
they range from level 8-15 in buyable levels
they cost 1000 gold per level
they cap at lvl 20
they have 75% of the hps normal characters have
they do half damage
you are only allowed mercenaries from your same Divinity(which is why i suggested temple)
they only come equipped as a level 8 would(you can ofc provide them gear)
they have 1 life(they die you have to buy anew)
possible:
---------to make mercenary account wide?(gunna scratch this part as it seems impossible when acct has multiple divs)
