How Faction Points Are Awarded.

The current formula is:
RewardAmount = (YourFactionActivity / TotalFactionActivity) * YourControlPoints * 0.1 * FactionBonus


YourControlPoints = Your current control points
YourFactionActivity = Your current faction activity. This is normally from 0 to 15. (15 being 100%. You gain 3 on login, 3 for wins, and 1 for losses.)
TotalFactionActivity= Faction activity total from all players (This is outputted to discord)
FactionBonus= Underdog bonus is 1.2 (20%) otherwise this value is 1.0

Let's take a random example:
Blackspawn - Total Points: 14377 - Player Count: 22 - Total Faction Activity: 280
Church of Alderra - Total Points: 18315 - Player Count: 29 - Total Faction Activity: 345
Omaclaran Remnant (Underdogs) - Total Points: 12450 - Player Count: 12 - Total Faction Activity: 180



So how to make sure your points are right? Let's look at Omaclaran Remnant first!

Taking our above formula:
RewardAmount = (YourFactionActivity / TotalFactionActitiy) * YourControlPoints * 0.1 * FactionBonus

This means for Omaclaran:

RewardAmount = (15 / 180) * 12450 * 0.1 * 1.2 = 124 Points!

The above was an example at 100% activity. If you say for example had less then 100%, then you would not get all of the points, and your excess points will go back into the pool for others to draw from. Make sure to do your faction activity points!

These values may be changed as we work on it, but just letting you know for now the current values. Eventually when you can at least get people to defend/attack being in a super faction will not be worth it, you'll want to distribute yourselves evenly, or if your a small guild, join the underdogs!

REMEMBER! IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE YOU NEED TO JOIN A GUILD OR FACTION ON SUNDAY/MONDAY!

'Why is my factions total size greater/less then the actives?'

First off, size is just that, your faction size. Actives is the current active players who are CURRENTLY participating and is part of if you get underdog or not. Actives is LOCKED from Tuesday and up and people who join on Tuesday+ will not get rewarded. SIZE IS ONLY GOOD FOR WHEN YOU WANT TO JOIN A FACTION. YOU CANNOT JOIN THE FACTION WITH THE LARGEST SIZE! The number you probably want to look at is the active count.

Actives are removed for things such as being lower level. This means that your active count will be lower than your faction size in this scenario, because not everyone can participate.

However if your size is greater than your actives, it normally means someone joined your faction on a day other than Sunday/Monday.

Here is an example.

Name: Blackspawn - Size: 15 People, 10 Active.
Name: Church of Alderra - Size: 25 People, 25 Active
Name: Omaclaran Remnant - Size: 18 People, 15 Active


The total amount of people is 58, but only 50 people are active. This means the sizes will be 25.8% (15/58) for Blackspawn, 43.1% (25/58) for Church, and Omaclaran will have 31% (18/58) for sizes.

This also means that the active percent will be different, Blackspawn will be 20% (10/50), Church will have 50% (25/50), and Omaclaran will have 30.0% (15/50) for faction active. If you look the values got higher and lower, but that is because the active count is different from the size count, so you cannot treat them as equal!
