Bloody Hands

If you PK someone you gain a line in your description stating that your hands are covered in blood. What this does is it allows anyone to kill you no matter where you are, so if you are sitting in the tavern you can be killed. The only way to get this to go away is to run away and let the timer run out, or go donate at your temple to repent your wrong doings.

We can make a special class room that if you are in it you do not gain this tag, like the game room or any event rooms.

I love the idea, but then you'd have to put it into tier levels. Y'know, for those who are excessively PKing.


Maybe [x armor/clothes are soaked in blood..]?

This doesn't encourage PVP, if anything it takes away from it.

You are punishing the PKer for PKing. If this was a plus towards PKing, then he'd be rewarded with something. Instead he is being marked to be killed anywhere. People will be too afraid to PK because they will be labeled as 'pk anywhere' and it just won't happen then. I know I wouldn't bothering pking if the risks were high on my normal alts. Maybe when I have nothing to lose, but then I'd just ask someone in the tavern to kill me to reset my status. I wouldn't bother killing while im level 1-24.

Kind of reminds me of the rogue mechanic in Division, which was more annoying than fun. That said, it'd be cool/interesting if there was some sort of karma system that had benefits/perks for being a bad pker or being a good guy killing pkers. In RoK there was a lot of fun, dynamic encounters between pk and pkk clans, but it could be something even more grand with actual game systems behind it.

I guess i wouldnt mind seeing the description added but only for a short amount of time and not for it to have any affect on where you can be attacked at. At most maybe just an indicator to levelers that you are a pker type thing.

Honestly, unless you introduce an "honor" system I don't see any reason to focus any attention on the pk aspect of the game. If you had areas that only "sinister" people could go and others where only "honorable" could go then it would make sense. This would require a reputation system though and it would be something that would be WAY down the road. In Alura, we coded it where certain cities were hostile to anyone not of the right race. If you have the reputation system going you could have city guards bar people from entering some areas or even some places where NPCs attack people without the required sinister/honorable reputation. Since I don't think pvp is the main focus of this game right now, it's best back burner any kind of tweaks to the system for pkers. Just let things evolve and see where this ride is going before anticipating alternatives.
