How many players are interested in roleplaying? I've found that 95% of all MUDs that are roleplay enforced are the largest in the genre. Just curious to where peoples opinions lie here.

I don't like "forcing" people, but i would like more RP events and stuff.

My name is BAMBAM! i am a half orc slayer with 200 agility and strength, because Nitehawk the eternal forged me special rings of stat power. He watches us as a giant eye on a tower... I smush all gnomes so dont roleplay 1 either.

I feel like the game could grow a lot more with RP. We're not taking advantage of it so much at the moment. We could have members of staff alternating in and out of who is the current God of all elements. As staff are simply Demi-Gods.
The largest MUDs also enforce roleplaying. So..yeah. We've got work to do, anyway. The type of people who play MUDs generally play to roleplay. Maybe not here, even though my Poll reflected more people would like to Roleplay then not, but we are supposed to be creating a world for people to escape to. When we can't even enforce proper character naming.
I'm basing my words off of statistics of games developers that are being paid to produce MUDs. We'll not have player retention if people can't be immersed in our world like they are in other MUDs, especially if we don't have the features they have. (It's 2017. Even telenet MUDs have clients that similar or better than EO in regards to features, etc.)
I believe this game has what it takes to go places. But we need some changes. And enforcing.
