New Player Guild Announcement

Something ive always thought was a neat feature was the ability to apply for guilds at the start of the game (or at any point of the game). If we can get a player in a guild right away they can find help if needed and ask important questions. It also gives them some what of a community feel right away (since no one really hangs in the tutorial area you usually wont see another player for like 20mins and can seem like a ghost town).
Im not super sure how this would be done but something showing say the top 3-5 guilds current active members and a little button or command to apply would be great.
For example you log on for the first time get your logon message and stuff and somehow you see something about current active guilds and to apply
-Consider Joining One Of These Helpful Guilds To Get Started-
(you can always change later but this is a a great way to get started and the help you might need)
Brotherhood <This is a pve guild that does boss runs but also participates in player vs player events>
Current total members: 100
Current Online Members: 5
Type /apply brotherhood <message> to apply
Purg <This is a leveling guild for all players that also does pvp and mosh events>
Current total members: 70
Current Online Members: 8
Type /apply purg <message> to apply
silhouette <This is a boss killing guild and does not take part in killing other players>
Current total members: 25
Current Online Members: 6
Type /apply silhouette <message> to apply
The clan description would be written by one of the guild leaders or whatever and when someone applied it would be sent to current clan players online or pm'd to leaders if no one is online?
Anyways I think it would help capture some of these players who are checking out the game but not really seeing anyone at first. We might want to checkout how we are introducing players to the game as well. While the tutorial really covers everything needed its a lot of information to just throw at a player at once while its all important its not the ideal way to start a game (reading for 20 mins). talking to a few players it can be overwhelming a bit going up and down finding certain npcs when names are chopped off on npc bar etc. Im not sure what the solution is but ive talked to a few players who have just left during it and i believe it may be a bit much. so that might be something to look at too.
