Any plans to get this game posted on Steam? I'm sure that would get us an influx of new players =).

It has a fee of like 150-200 bucks to even post.

Damn I was not aware of that.

It's $100, guarantee we can raise that if we tried. Would it be worth it? Dunno, honestly have had zero experience with that type of thing.

I think it might be worth it to raise the money once we have more endgame content in. As a text based game we have a bit I a disadvantage over the graphics based games, so we should at least have stuff to do when you reach 25 before we drop a hundred-plus bucks on greenlight.

More content would be cool but Steam as a very large player base. Shit a number of them could be old rokers that have no clue EO exists. A free game hitting the New Free page on steam would atleast guarantee EO quite a few people try it. Likely most will leave but some will stay. Shit you guys might make GMUDs trendy again and get someone like lyrik to try it. Server might go down with the traffic after that.

I would throw a few bucks in to make this happen when the time is right.

We for sure have some polish to add if we are going to go this route. Really need to understand what's turning off players and at what point and focus on that. I help "new" players pretty much daily direct them to guilds etc it usually seems only rokers stay.


There is another mud called batmud that did the whole steam thing need to take a look at their product and process and what kind of return it netted them.

I tried Batmud awhile back, didnt know it was on steam.

I played Batmud like in 2008 and didn't know it was on steam....it was actually kind of fun then my pc died lol. I think we're too early into the game to try to appeal to mass crowd, although after stuff gets rolling, it might not be a bad idea.
