the mr has nothing to do with the flaw, the mr is there to balance the races. the flaw is that i can go into battle naked with no weapon and only be hit 40/100 times. or i can be an ugly beast and go into battle fully equipped and be hit 92/100 times. (the horc barb above) it isnt generally about race or class or anything.
mr will never be perfect because its balancing 1 stat with multiple variables to a bunch of other variables. it may "work" but it wont be 100% correct stat-wise for every build, it will leave flaws like it already does.
even the statistic overviews don't match up, a chanter with 10 agility would only be hit 58% by that half orc barb. and even at 10 agility the chanter still has 1.6x the hit rate.
it isnt really a comparison, its straight flawed. then after that if you want to add in class race etc, mages also get all defensive statistics maxed for free on top of max con and max dmg and nearly a +1 with little to no sacrifice.
Change to Fade spell.

Re: Change to Fade spell.
One of the problem with fade is that people on tablets would not be able to hit someone faded.
What about creatures in the dark?
Maybe a warning to people entering dark areas?
Or make it like fade except they have a permanent + to AGL/Spell piercing until you use a light (or Sight or your crit has Infravision)?
Or just have it work like blind, -2 AGL?
Actually for enemies that cannot be seen, why not have "an unknown enemy attacks you" then have the portrait picture appear blank with a question mark. So you can still click on it... eh... only problem would be macro and "a unknown" eh... Ah well back to the drawing board.
Unknown one, Unknown two ?
So "a unknown one" or "a unknown two"

I mean, I don't know what the fuzz is about tablets right now, won't happen for a good while, I'm not so concerned at the moment. There is going to have to be a manual way to attack just like their is on EO.
