Fact remains, lings would have been first choice then.

Plus dammage would have scaled down as well. Just like horc would be 24 str melee, archers would be 24 agi melee , same difference in that case but eh.

in my experience the lings and gnomes are the best overall, just no-one likes to suck in pvp.

1% protect difference between a 10chr and a 20chr same pet?

It seems wrong. Shouldn't chr matter more in that formula, or dodge agi matter more, idk pet stats at 10chr...

10 chr is 70% pet stats
20 is 100%

if pet protect is 10% with 20 chr, its only 7% with 10 chr.


if ur just looking at soul gems they only show at 100% pet stats. once you use the gem the stats will suck.

Still you have a mosquito that protects 19%, Inverno has a Saurian, mosquito protecting 20%, I have a 20chr and it protects 20%... something seems off.

taunt level is most of the protection value. dodge agi affects the smaller portion. and most low chr stalkers use gear with +4 dodge agi (+0.8% pet block). also this was before the update, where pet stats were 75% at 10 chr. they have been reduced to 70% and other various penalties have been added. slower attacks and longer exhaust times etc. also mosquito got nerfed so bad its doubtful anyone will use them.

currently im pretty sure my ling has 22.6% pet block and my 14 chr one has 19.4 with the same pet. its all rng anyway, i used a horc stalker for almost 6 months recorded every fight and it only pet blocked 11.2%. wasnt even close to 20. its all dumb luck.

the basic % from taunt level is like that.

if your pet is say taunt 4 85% pet stats 22 agi dodge vs taunt 4 100% pet stats 24 dodge agi

u end up with 17+ 0.2 per dodge agi vs 20+0.2 per dodge agi

in most cases a low chr stalker puts on whatever gear adds 4 dodge agi and cant really use other stuff. it can work on some builds for 1v1s with no pots.
