FF is -supposed- to counter slayers. It's just not balanced for 1v1 fights.


It still would be a counter, since backstab would still be their main damage output. I see assassins as critical hit specialists, people who know where to to hit and how to hit. Why would they need to hide in the shadows to do this? Obviously hiding would be better to achieve this - hence more damage.
Nothing is more gimped than an assassin who cant backstab.
I included thieves into the alternative because they are sneaky and would fighting dirty.
Remove sword use from assassins and give them a critical hit chance (int+agl+lvl?).

If you add critical strike, I was thinking: INT+AGL+LVL/2 to INT+AGL+LVL maximum damage % added. So 20 INT, 20 AGL, LVL 25 would mean an extra 33% - 65% damage for normal attacks (134 - 232 damage per attack, 537 - 928 if all land). Oh God... I fear I will be flamed here :lol:. Make INT great again?

Or KISS - normal attack - critical attack, rinse and repeat.

Things to remember though:
Paladins have Aegis and Heal,
Knights have shield bash, +% to attack, +4% HP
Barbarians have fury, +8% HP, -% attack?
Monks have RH, +% dodge, +1 attack
Druids have morph, FF, Haste

This would allow the druids to use FF at will, and still nerf the assassin by removing his main damage output, while still allowing the assassin a chance.

It seems peeps don't want this though. So aye in events do not remove the druids FF, just limit it.
Disclaimer: Any ideas I come up with may not even meet my approval. I am just posting an idea based on the topic I have just read.

Snyp you still didn't answer my question lol. How much is it ACTUALLY being re-applied. I know it CAN be right now but give me an average fight / guess / whatever on how much you are in fact re-applying it. If you are currently re-applying 3x in a fight then yes 1 limited use of it would make a large difference. If you are, on average, just derping off 1 FF then limiting it to 1 won't actually make a difference.

I've only fought druids a few times in KotH and I never had FF reapplied, but this is my limited experience so that's why I'm asking.

To be quite honest, the KoTH where i won the streak and event (3 weeks ago) is the first time i actually bothered with the FF strat and i reapplied upon fading. It crippled the 2 or 3 slayers i faced and i felt bad for it. No lie. But one application would have left them a fighting chance because through the fight they lasted long enough to where i had to re-apply atleast once more. Sometimes twice more. It definitely needs restriction.
