@NH just make all events no food events. drinks only allowed between rounds. solved.

In events you can limit anything, it's easy. I'm pretty sure there is a way to do it via rooms. But thats not what I mean. I am referring to when two big parties comes in PVP battle in the actual world.

Make faerie fire block their hide like in RoK, that way it would at least balance tactics like this, and make druids more popular.

But it goes for more then just assassins. In a big 10vs10 lets say, if someone is about to die they can run off and heal. right now it takes some time to get back in (36seconds with heal atm) But if it was let say, too low, you wouldn't really have to worry about healers and could just alternate and run when you take damage.

10s combat timer might be better though. Atm its 16 seconds. that would help a bit. Not sure though yet.

I was also thinking maybe it would be a nice change of pace if we made some of the lower end area's non pvp area's? I mean ya its fun to pvp and if the lvl 9 wondered into a lvl 15+ area fine let there ass get whooped on but to be lvl 9-15 and have a 25er come up and one shot you is very discouraging and i have actauly seen many players log out due to this. When it happens more than a few times then we start losing the population that just wanted to have fun in the first place... PK should be an option not a requirement. This all gos with the world becoming more vast and allowing more area's for players to farm in. Atm once you hit lvl 20 you basicly have the graveyard and thats were most pkers sit all day which realy bones anyone that wants to level past 20.

Along those lines PLEASE and i cant be more begging of this but PLEASE if we are in a party with a caster or a ranger that has a pet make it so we cant click on it and kill it by accident. I cant tell you how many times i have been clicking away at a monster and then bam there poor lil golem gos splat cause someone killed the monster and i clicked one to many times. If the monster / player is in your party there should be NO option of hitting it.

I agree with making party pets unattackable. As fun as it is watching peoples' golems go splat, it ends up wasting mana they could be spending killing shit to resummon it.

Forget making areas non-pvp areas, people would just run to them for safety. I think though that a good thing for the game would be making it no pvp until level 15 (or have an option to turn pk on if you for some reason want to get slaughtered at low lvl). I love pvp as much as the next guy but the fact is we've already lost players because some of you murder the shit out of them when they are lvl9 and 12 and they just quit because of it. It's not really fun for anyone.

Fixing party pets has been mentioned a lot before, it'd be awesome. I understand it requires some good amount of code changing though.

10-12 second combat timer sounds good as well, 16 is a long damn time. If someone runs away for 10 seconds to eat, well, who cares their side is down a player for a long time.

And the way I feel, if a slayer wants to leave ooc for 1m to full heal, im ok with that. Thats tactial, not abusive IMHO.

Its about the same length to stock and zombie, which most of us old heads from other MUDs are usual pretty against and enforce these views for our guilds.

I could agree with exp being lowered all around it really does feel like a grind and leveling is quite a bit harder here than rok was.

As for quests yes I'd like to see more and there will be more with new areas but you'll need to jump around.

As for the kill 50 quests with double exp that's really a product of the amount of content and me trying to expand the quests. We can only have so many trash drops and npcs in a area so it's either a shorter quest with less exp or a longer one. Truth is ATM leveling takes so long you end up killing 50 while grinding anyways so in my head I figure why not give them more exp for what they are going to do.

Do you guys like the fetch quest in wiken if so we could do more of that. Maybe a find x npcs he's lost in the dread lands and needs food go give it to him type thing.


As for eating after combat I guess I could see it shortened to 12 instead of 16 but I really just don't wanna see it make Pvp any harder than it is. It's already impossible to kill anyone with huge pvp pools and running.
