Debugging the server

Postby NiteHawk » Tue Nov 15, 2016 6:26 am

Hey guys.

Got some wonky shit going on with the server when the server lag occurs. I need to zap it and figure it out though so we need to throw the debugger on again tonight. I am currently working on a vocal server that should let me know where the server locks up.

Sorry for the problems though guys, I know it's annoying. Multi-threading is new to me and there are indeed issues with it here and there that need to be addressed.

I intend on doing it tonight again so I hope people are around to beat on it again.

Thanks.

Server is in partial debug mode (AKA the server is running in debug but the debug logging is disabled and can be enabled through a command). I want to be able to get the errors soon as they come.

You may experience latency during. If the server locks up then that's the issue I am looking for. (in which case tell a staffer and I will enable debugging.)
