Gold sinks

Problem
Amount of gold in game growths faster than the player base. Without a way to remove these in game, the quantity of gold and items will continue to grow until both are nearly worthless.
This is good for old players that have hoards of gold, and assets they can price at any level of gold. Not so much for newer players, who will not be able to enter any meaningful trade.
So to keep gold levels at acceptable levels I propose the following to be implemented (in no particular order, and most aren’t original, but at least we can have everything in one place):

1. Mystery Auctions
a. This is already being done – just packet 9 worthless items and 1 very good, and sell for gold

2. Sell Custom naming of items
a. Let people pay to name their own items, for a considerable fee

3. Sell Custom description lines
a. Let people add a line to their char description, for a considerable fee

4. Sell name changes
a. Let people change their char name, for a fee.

5. Sell Exp Boosters
a. Sell exp boosters for a considerable fee. Similar like a potion, but lasting 24 hours

6. Sell Cosmetic pets
a. Available to all races, let people buy and collect pokem.. I mean pets.

7. Sell extra storage space
a. 1 more line of storage for 1000k, for example

8. Charge entry fees for certain areas
a. For example, have an OAD are where an NPC demands 10k per char to pass.

9. Rent out houses
a. Houses should come with their own temple, bank, etc. – basically meriting the cost

10. Pay to upgrade items
a. From green to blue, and from blue to purple – at outrageous amounts of gold, of course.

Throw away more ideas, or blast these ones 
