This is mainly for Kawa and/or Sats, but id like everyone's opinion: is our new city/nation under any kind of duress from a foreign people? Is there a need for an army I guess is my question. We could do a few quests with that as a storyline.

Yes. They're in an uneasy peace at the moment, but they could very easily slip back into war with the Old Kingdom at any time, so there's every reason for an army.

As for using them for a quest, I have an idea along those lines, but that's much later down the road.

Cool, just as a rl army vet I thought it would be cool to have a sort of training base as a leveling area or something. Maybe quest to join the ranks or something. Just thinking lol
