Quick question on ToS - PKing 25ers

Postby JadeFalcon » Sat Apr 29, 2017 8:52 pm

Does killing a 25er 3 times in under an hour count?
We had this party going on, and we had to... "decline" combat because we were unsure.

Thanks

ToS doesn't specify leveler, so it would apply to everyone.

Harassment is harassment. Currently over 3 times an hour on any player regardless of level is againt the ToS.

I'm sure Adramelk can charm in here, it's more of his realm of staffing.

Nailed it on the head there. Minus major pvp battles/gate fights or fights at oads, if you're purposely targeting a 25er because they are trying to farm a item or gold and kill them more than 3 times in an hour, you get the hammer. Just act right, play the game, don't be a asshat and help us grow this game.

OAD areas/gate fights/game rooms and such it doesn't count for, I believe we marked that though in the TOS.

If they do aggressed you though, you have every right to defend yourself. I would suggest keeping the logger going, which can be done at literally no expense. I would consider it if one of the party members attacks, you are free to defend yourself from the whole party though.

If someone were to try to 'cheat you' to ban you after they aggressed first, and reported you. I would instead turn around and ban them for a heavier amount of time for wasting my time as I feel a person reporting should have the some consequences as what they are reporting if they are lying. I'm fine if both parties are having fun, even if the limit is higher. I would however do as I said above if they are at the limit first.

Simply put, I'd use smart judgment, the rule is obviously there for reasons as stated above, but if two parties really want to kill each other, then there shouldn't be a problem with it.¨

We could problem expand the TOS a little though.

Ok - from my understanding, if someone is clearly goading for a fight and get killed, its ok.

(correct me if i am wrong please)

Thanks!

Just keep it logged, but yeah. If they attack you, but they're at the limit, it's their fault, you defend yourself and beat them down NP. The whole party is included in this.
