Not bothered (again).
Was thinking of extending the use of CHR and INT, since they still appear to be dump stats (in certain cases).
CHR: could be viewed as luck and divine blessing. Give it a minor boost to drop rates (sort of like the thief trait, but nowhere near as high).
INT: could be seen as an out thinking your enemy and allowing for critical strikes (but with only a minor damage increase). Only physical attacks since it is already factored into magical damage and effect.
CHR and Luck, INT for critical hit.

Disclaimer: Any ideas I come up with may not even meet my approval. I am just posting an idea based on the topic I have just read.

I like these ideas but I feel like classes that already require them would get a huge boost. For example a knight already puts stats in Chr. With this addition they would get a huge damage reduction, hp bonus and now item bonus find?
Int might be a bit more balanced but pallies which could use a bonus would get an advantage there. I guess if they were very minor bonuses it could be balanced. Cool idea.
