Should I remove the scaling? I feel like I should.
By scaling I mean slowly ramping up your strength, since the actual stats are based on level mostly, I feel like it shouldn't scale too. It makes it double hard to get damage and such due to it.
I.E. 40-41 str even at level 12 will be the same as around a cavalier with 21-22 str, but right now it's more like half/three fourths of that so morphing at low levels kind of sucks. At level 25 obviously is it the same as around a cavalier with 21-22 str, because the scaling is at 100% when you are level 25.
I think level should be the only factor here, makes it simple, easy to figure out, less hassle while leveling. Says?
Druid Morph Scaling
Re: Druid Morph Scaling
Forgive me, not quite getting what you are saying.
If its based on level then it would still be scaling?
Do you mean only WIS affecting? So no matter what level you are the stats would be the same and based on WIS?
Maybe show an example of what you propose?

Re: Druid Morph Scaling
He means give Morph the same bonus at every level and not have to wait til 25 to have even a slight chance to do any damage... Even though they still suck at 25. I know, the weapon deal.. Not proper weapons in game. Weapons don't affect hit rate/dodge/hp.

Well the hitrate/dodge rate could be adjusted a little more. At the moment as an example.
AGI is -5% less out of morph, but they still have more AGI overall in the end. I.E. 20 wis and 20 agi becomes 22.3 agi when morphed, but when the nerf its 21.18 AGI.
Then you have lings with 23 agi, becomes 25.3 agi, and that equates to 24.04 AGI out of morph.
I think (overall) that AGI can be booted a little in this regard but I'll check that later. I don't think they are terrible as is though based on the formulas and how they work. But they do lack damage right now because of weapons. min/max missing 1/2 which equates to 2/4 on druids.

So based on that quote, and the other information. A 20 WIS, 20 AGL alt would have 22.3 AGL when morphed at 12th level to 25th level?
As in the increase to STR/AGL is just based on WIS now.

Re: Druid Morph Scaling
Well what you just said there about taking a look is light at the end of the tunnel.
I however believe you're confused about how good you think Druids are.. Maybe there's something in the code not translating or something you're overlooking. Druid loses duels 100% of the time. Also, ling Druid is useless.. Gnome is even better.
No one looks or cares about unmorphed stats because you're never unmorphed in PVP. If you are you're slow at macroing or something is extremely wrong... You don't heal for morphing so the only reason to be unmorphed is to reapply haste(which is useless when leveling in the long run because druids have to go low INT for other stats so morph doesnt last long enough for the 1 second to be beneficial when leveling).
Not trying to argue about your game. I know you know the code, but something's missing. Druid is hands down the worst class PVE or PVP. Also, I hear you on the weapon part. They're ment to do more damage but the damage isnt extremely terrible even with a mithril mace... It's hit hit rate and dodge that is the problem. You say they're the best agility wise unless I read that wrong but I've leveled just about everything and they are horrible... Pre 25 and 25.

I'd like to test some then sometime.. Based on stats I don't see how they are the worst.
Re: Druid Morph Scaling
Adjusted the stats to be max on morph regardless of level... Adjusted AGI a little as well. Need to test druids as I said sometime.
Re: Druid Morph Scaling
That is great. Let me know if you want to test or need any info.

Just my 2 gold here.
Elders should lose approximately 65%+ of the time vs lizard and orc ninjas/slayers... And elders should dominate all spell casters in battle.
Elders are a key to balancing PVP.
Orcs and lizards are chanter food >>> Chanters can't really hurt Elders >>> Elders lose to orc and lizard ninjas/slayers.
In my mind that's how I picture things.
