Re: Safe Squares for weary travelers
I think this might make sense for roads or flat areas where camps or guard towers could be posted. But I think some areas should be very much wild. If there are things like hermit huts or hag hovels etc, that might be a decent alternative. But I'd suggest against arbitrarily throwing in safe zones w...

Re: Additional caster race
There's a D&D Uneartched Arcana (reddit) description that provides some variant options akin to Halflings.

Re: Additional caster race
Gotcha.
Yeah, I've started enjoying Tibbits (another campaign), but I'd still like to see a furry, clean (not automatically mangy sewer rat) type of mouse/ratfolk added.

Additional caster race
Just to put it in there for whatever point in the future....wish list for additional racial options, particularly with medium-to-good caster capabilities: Ratfolk (because I play one in a D&D campaign and catfolk is waaay overdone, plus druids have panther-shift). Some kind of fiend- or plane-ki...

Re: Change saurian race to drakeblood?
I have no problem with that if it's Ember Lore; but in general fantasy lore it's not necessarily a restriction (Draconians in Dragonlance being the example I"m most recently familiar with).

Re: Change saurian race to drakeblood?
It'd be nice to have a caster version of some kind of goblin-kin or animal-kin race. Keep Saurian as the warrior lizard, make drakeblood the caster 'lizard'.

Re: /protect, /taunt, RAGE changes
/protect is added for Paladins. While protecting, if your 'protectee' gets attacked, you will step in the way. When this occurs, you will have -15% less overall dodge and -5% less spell resistance. If you move out of the room or die, the protectee becomes invul. "invul"? Invulnerable, as ...

Re: Change saurian race to drakeblood?
I'd put my vote down for both. There's distinct differences between the possible lore of "saurian" or lizard/snake people and Drakebloods (dragon-kin). Which also begs the question concerning "kobolds" and whether they are the D&D dragon kin or RoK(et al) "dogkin". ...

Re: SpellBook
In the interest of having more than one spell available for a variety of effects and "levels" (eg: more than one beam-level spells for flavor/choice), I'd add a suggestion that a/the Spellbook function like an inventory or vault. Much like a Wizard/Druid/Cleric in D&D, you can have a b...
